 Description:  Illinois Treasurer Michael Frerichs will release results of a performance review conducted by Plante Moran, a Midwestern-based accounting and consulting firm. When Treasurer Frerichs was sworn into office, he called for a top-to-bottom review of the Treasurers Office to identify ways to increase efficiency, effectiveness and reduce costs. A media availability will be held on April 30 at 1:30 p.m. at the Rockford Metropolitan Agency for Planning at 313 N. Main Street in Rockford to discuss inherited challenges, successes, and a plan to expand education, access, and opportunity to Illinois families.
