Defendant Carmecita Williams was convicted of officialmisconduct (720 ILCS 5/333(b) (West 1998)), and sentenced to 24months probation. The appellate court reversed defendantsconviction and entered a judgment of acquittal, concluding that theevidence was insufficient to sustain her conviction.
