 Description:  Central Illinois Light Company d/b/a AmerenCILCO; Central Illinois Public Service Company d/b/a AmerenCIPS; Illinois Power Company d/b/a AmerenIP: Petition for Approval to enter into an Affiliate Agreement pursuant to the Public Utilities Act. On May 7, 2009, Illinois Power Company, d/b/a AmerenIP (AmerenIP), Central Illinois Public Service Company, d/b/a AmerenCIPS (AmerenCIPS), and Central Illinois Light Company, d/b/a AmerenCILCO (AmerenCILCO) (collectively the Ameren Illinois Utilities or the Petitioners) pursuant to Section 7-101(3) (and, as appropriate, Section 7-102) of the Illinois Public Utilities Act (the Act) (220 ILCS 5/7-101(3), 5/7-102), filed a Verified Petition seeking the approval of the Illinois Commerce Commission (Commission) to enter into an affiliate services agreement (AIU Agreement) with one another. According to the Petitioners, approval of the AIU Agreement would perfect the transfer of 597 Ameren Services employees to the Ameren Illinois Utilities (566 to AmerenCILCO, 4 to AmerenCIPS, and 27 to AmerenIP), which began on January 1, 2009. The Ameren Illinois Utilities also requested waiver of Commission approval, or, in the alternative, Commission approval, of the transfer of supply assets incidental to the employee transfer.
