This report summarizes the work completed in 2010, identifies impediments to such progress, and reflects the recommendations of the Advisory Committee, including items requiring legislation. Five work-groups pertaining to finance, workforce/caregiver; nursing home conversion; services expansion; and coordinated point of entry met throughout 2010 to consider actions that will adviance the transformation of long term care in Illinois.
