 Description:  This Illinois Board of Higher Education report on the educational characteristics, treatment, and needs of rapidly increasing race/ethnic groups, which is included in these Board materials, was prepared in response to House Resolution 892 of the Illinois General Assembly. This resolution directs the Illinois Board of Higher Education to examine the issue of the relative treatment of undocumented residents in the admissions process of all Illinois public colleges and universities, as well as the more global question of how to remove barriers and increase participation for Hispanic students.
