 Description:  The Evaluation of the Implementation of Illinois Learning Standards (Reissued) Project is a four-year endeavor funded by the Illinois State Board of Education to assess the extent to which local districts are implementing Illinois Learning Standards, to identify factors which enhance or inhibit implementation, and to investigate the relationship between standards implementation and student achievement. This report to the Illinois State Board of Education summarizes findings and offers recommendations based on the first two years of operation. The study has two components: the Survey of Practitioners and the Qualitative component.
