Multiple judges and arbitrators have ruled that the state owes approximately $112 million to employees. The Department of Corrections staff alone represent more than $82 million of the back-pay. Nearly $7.4 million is owed to employees in the 50th Senate District represented by McCann. McCann is sponsor of a bill that was filed in 2013 to pay the wages. That legislation was bottled up by Democrat leaders in the Senate and has not been called for a vote. Also addressing the press were Senators Dave Luechtefeld (R-Okawville) and Sue Rezin (R-Morris). |   | |   | Date Created:   | 05-07-2014 |   | |   | Agency ID:   | 539**14 |   | |   | ISL ID:   | 000000053255   Original UID: 174524 FIRST WORD: Illinois |   |
