 Description:  The Special Pension Briefing is an annual summation of the findings of the 5 State retirement systems respective actuarial valuations. The report analyzes changes in unfunded liability, historical funded ratio status, statutorily-mandated State pension contributions for the ensuing fiscal year and long-term funding projections through FY 2045 pursuant to P.A. 88-593. The report also analyzes investment returns for the most recently-completed fiscal year, and documents any changes in actuarial assumptions that might affect the funds cumulative funded status or future State contributions.
