 Description:  The following plan outlines areas of responsibility and an administrative framework in which to respond to emergency situations. This plan was developed to facilitate rapid, professional and supportive response to Capitol Complex emergencies in conjunction with the Secretary of State Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP), the occupant emergency plan and the State Emergency Operations Plan. In addition, individual departments must develop response plans for situations that may develop within their areas of responsibility. Each employee should be familiar with a safe exit from his/her work area and an alternate exit.
