 Description:  Illinois Treasurer Michael Frerichs will release results of a performance review conducted by Plante Moran, a Midwestern-based accounting and consulting firm. When Treasurer Frerichs was sworn into office, he called for a top-to-bottom review of the Treasurers Office to identify ways to increase efficiency, effectiveness and reduce costs. A news conference will be held on April 27 at 1:30 p.m. in the Capitol Briefing Room at the Illinois State Capitol in Springfield to discuss inherited challenges, successes, and a plan to expand education, access, and opportunity to Illinois families.
