 Description:  Contains the memoirs of Lt. Jack A. Simon who served as a B-17 navigator in the U.S. Army Air Force during WWII. Simon flew twenty seven missions over Germany before his plane was shot down near Derben. His internment ended when American troops liberated Simon's prisoner of war camp in Spring 1945.
