In late 2005, a Decatur man was beaten and stabbed to death by a group of assailants who first searched for him and then chased him. Defendant Davison was a member of this group. In the circuit court of Macon County, a jury convicted him for first degree felony murder, with the predicate felony being mob action. The appellate court affirmed.
