 Description:  This Part establishes the requirements and procedures to be followed by an owner/operator of a diesel-powered vehicle registered within an affected area in the State of Illinois that is subject to a diesel emission inspection in accordance with Section 13-109.1 of the Illinois Vehicle Inspection Law (the Law) [625 ILCS 5/13-109.1]. Additionally, inspection, compliance and enforcement procedures are covered by this Part and establish the Diesel Emission Inspection Program.
