These data were collected using the Illinois Crime Victimization Survey (ICVS) which measured the nature and extent of statewide and regional crime victimization in Illinois during 2002. Recoding and verification tasks were conducted using Statistical Software for the Social Sciences (SPSS), and correlation matrices and logistic regressions were performed using Stata.
