Water quality data are gathered by the IEPA, the US Geological Survey, and the USEPA. Illinois is required to identify water bodies that do not meet water quality standards and to determine the Total Maximum Daily Load for pollutants causing the impairment. | | | Date Created: | 01 07 2003 | | | Agency ID: | | | | ISL ID: | 000000040750 Original UID: 20921 FIRST WORD: Rayse
2: | | Title: | | | | Volume/Number: | 2006 October | | | Issuing Agency: | | | | Description: | The plan contains best management practice recommendations for each of the twelve watersheds to promote continued water quality improvement. This section includes a prioritized listing of the twelve subwatersheds for future restoration activities from highest to lowest priority. This should help the watershed planning committee more effectively target their restoration activities for maximum water quality benefit. | | | Date Created: | 11 29 2006 | | | Agency ID: | Research Publication No. NS-019 | | | ISL ID: | 000000041178 Original UID: 21133 FIRST WORD: Rayse

This reporting requirement includes releases from livestock waste handling facilities and releases from the transportation of livestock waste. | | | Date Created: | 02 11 2002 | | | Agency ID: | | | | ISL ID: | 000000042558 Original UID: 22065 FIRST WORD: Reporting
5: | | Title: | | | | Volume/Number: | 2003 October | | | Issuing Agency: | | | | Description: | The development of Total Maximum Daily Loads, commonly known as TMDLs, for pollutants is a method that can be used to improve water quality. The process of creating and implementing TMDLs provides an opportunity for all interested parties to help restore the quality of local water bodies. | | | Date Created: | 10 21 2002 | | | Agency ID: | | | | ISL ID: | 000000041306 Original UID: 21167 FIRST WORD: Restoring
6: | | Title: | | | | Volume/Number: | 2006 March | | | Issuing Agency: | | | | Description: | The river basin assessment as described in the framework is intended to be a snapshot view of the areas water resources which compiles a variety of information and assessments. It is not a list of public policy recommendations or an implementation document. Rather, it is intended that the river basin assessment will provide the basic information regarding water resources, such as which waters are impaired as well as causes and sources of impairments, that can be used by local planning groups in the development of detailed watershed implementation plans. The Rock River Basin Assessment which follows is the first pilot attempt at such an assessment. | | | Date Created: | 08 07 2006 | | | Agency ID: | | | | ISL ID: | 000000043297 Original UID: 22802 FIRST WORD: Rock
7: | | Title: | | | | Volume/Number: | | | | Issuing Agency: | | | | Description: | The Safe Drinking Water Act Amendments of 1996 (SDWA) (PL104 -182, August 6, 1996, Title XIV, Section 1420) make provision for each primacy agent to provide for full funding of the State Revolving Loan (SRF) fund (Section 1452) allocation. This is contingent on the federal operator certification program requirements (Section 1419) being met and that a capacity development program is established and implemented. Failure to meet either the program or reporting requirements specified within these sections can result in withholding of up to 20 percent of the SRF funds available to the primacy program. Illinois has adopted legislation and rules (415 ILCS 5/15, 35 Ill. Adm. Code 651.102, 652.701-702; 77 Ill. Adm. Code 900.45(c)) for new public water supply systems, which must complete a capacity demonstration in order to obtain a construction or operating permit. The Strategy for Existing Public Water Systems was approved by U. S. EPA Region 5 September 27, 2000, and is being implemented. Revisions to the Strategy for Existing Public Water Systems have been made based upon experience learned through early implementation efforts. Those changes are noted in this report. New reporting criteria for Annual State Capacity Development Program Implementation Reports was developed by USEPA and sent to all primacy states on June 1, 2005, by certified mail (received by Illinois on August 25, 2005). This report is structured in accordance with that memorandum. | | | Date Created: | 10 16 2002 | | | Agency ID: | | | | ISL ID: | 000000042870 Original UID: 22430 FIRST WORD: Report
