This requires the removal of approximately 20 feet of the embankment, and the construction of new asphalt pavement and shoulders. After the completion of these repairs, the new section of IL 255 between Seminary to Humbert Road can reopen. IDOT worked closely with State Representative Dan Beiser and State Senator William Haine to move this project forward.
