Results are presented in two forms: mean relations for ten regions of approximately homogeneous precipitation climate, and statewide isohyetal maps based on the 61-station data The report also discusses the results of a special investigation pertaining to Chicago and the surrounding six counties subject to urban influences on the precipitation distribution.
