 Description:  The Evaluation of the Implementation of Illinois Learning Standards Project has been a four-year endeavor funded by the Illinois State Board of Education to assess the extent to which local districts are implementing Illinois Learning Standards, to identify factors which enhance or inhibit implementation, and to investigate the relationship between standards implementation and student achievement. The project began on January 18, 1999, and ended its fourth and final fiscal year of operation on August 20, 2002. This report contains the findings of the fourth and final year of the study and a summary for the entire grant period.
