Description

  • IL 58 (Dempster St.) will be fully closed at the CTA viaduct between Sherman Avenue and Sherman Place in the City of Evanston, Cook County. Beginning on Friday, June 22, 2012 at 12:00 Noon through Monday, June 25, 2012 at 3:30 PM to facilitate the roll in and placement of the new CTA viaduct bridge. The proposed detour route for eastbound traffic on IL Route 58 (Dempster St.) is to proceed north on Maple Avenue, eastbound on Greenwood Street, southbound on Chicago Avenue back to IL Route 58 (Dempster St.). The posted detour route for westbound traffic on IL Route 58 (Dempster St.) is to proceed north on Chicago Avenue, westbound on Lake Street, southbound on Oak Avenue back to IL Route 58 (Dempster St.).
