Description
The Illinois Department of Employment Security actively promotes and ensures equal opportunity in employment and services to all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, political affiliation, or belief under federal law. Additionally, the Department ensures equal opportunity regardless of unfavorable except a dishonorable discharge from military service, military status, ancestry, marital status, citizenship status and sexual orientation under State law. The Department complies fully with all pertinent laws and regulations issued by federal and state entities, including executive and administrative orders, dealing with matters involving equal employment and nondiscrimination and human and civil rights. The Department's Affirmative Action Plan is a detailed, results-oriented, set of procedures and processes to support and reaffirm this policy.
