  • Devonshire Power Partners, LLC (Devonshire or Petitioner) filed a verified petition, and on May 25, 2007, Devonshire filed a verified amended petition seeking an Illinois Commerce Commission (Commission) order effective May 31, 2007, revoking the status of Qualifying Solid Waste Energy Facility (QSWEF) as defined in Section 8-403.1 of the Illinois Public Utilities Act (Act) of an electric generating facility owned by Devonshire, fueled by landfill methane and located adjacent to the Dolton Landfill in Dolton, Illinois, and also providing that Commonwealth Edison Company shall no longer be required to purchase electricity generated by the Facility from Devonshire at the rate provided for in Section 8-403.1 of the Act.
