  • Petition for an Emergency Investigation of ComEd's Relationship to CORE and Advertising Misleading Information. Lieutenant Governor Pat Quinn (Petitioner, Lieutenant Governor Quinn, or Lt. Governor) filed this Petition on October 20, 2006 pursuant to Sections 4-101, 8-102, 10-101 and 10-108 of the Act asking the Illinois Commerce Commission (Commission) to investigate the financial relationship of Commonwealth Edison Company (ComEd) and Consumers Organized for Reliable Electricity (CORE) as well as COREs actions as a lobbyist on behalf of ComEd.
