- This publication provides an Introduction to the Mercury Deposition Network (MDN), which is the mercury wet-deposition monitoring arm of the National Atmospheric Deposition Program (NADP). The NADP is a cooperative monitoring program comprised of federal and state agencies, academic institutions, Native American tribal governments, and private organizations. The work of MDN is descibed, as is the danger of mercury to humans. Readers are encouraged to join MDN.
