.Kathryn Raistrick, Chair. Summary of activities for Fiscal Years 1991-2001 for the Illinois Advisory Board for Services for Persons who are Deaf-Blind. This Advisory Board is described in Article 14-11.02 of the School Code of Illinois. One of the duties of the Board is to: "...provide advice... on all matters pertaining to policy concerning persons who deaf-blind." The main activity of the Board for this period of time was to study Transition Services for Students who are Deaf-Blind. We wanted to determine what obstacles prevent the profision of smooth and appropriate transition services to this population and actively seek reasonable solutions.
