  • Illinois Senate Republican Leader Christine Radogno (R-Lemont) today testified in support of her constitutional amendment, SJRCA 69, before the Senate Executive Subcommittee on Constitutional Amendments. The constitutional amendment would have allowed Illinois voters to choose whether or not they support term limits for the states constitutional officers on the November ballot. The Amendment ultimately failed to make it out of subcommittee on a partisan vote of 2-1, with Democrat lawmakers voting against the legislation.
