Celebrate Earth Day
The first Earth Day was held on April 22, 1970, the same year that President Richard Nixon signed the legislation that created the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Its founder, Senator Gaylord Nelson, envisioned it as a grassroots celebration that would raise awareness of environmental issues. In celebration of the 35th anniversary of this historic event, Illinois Waste Management and Research Center Library would like you to visit the following sites to learn more about it and get ideas for making Earth Day every day.

Certifying Official Documents for Foreign Use
Any document that has been notarized or certified must be submitted to the Secretary of State Index Department. Some documents require certification by the official who has custody of the original document or by the office that officially filed the document.

Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act: Activities Report for Basic State Grant {periodical start}
Report by the Department of Children and Family Services, which is Illinois designated agency responsible to receive the Basic State Grant under the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act and continues to comply with the requirements as stipulated in Title 1 section 106 (b) of the Act. The Department is the state agency given the responsibility by the Abused and Neglected Child Reporting Act (ANCRA) to conduct investigations of child maltreatment and to arrange for needed services for families where credible evidence of abuse and neglect exits (Indicated cases).
