Food Distribution Program Handbook
The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) administers the Food Distribution Program (FDP) in Illinois. Through this program, surplus food provided by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is distributed to eligible recipient agencies. These donated foods help meet the nutritional needs of children in schools and summer programs. This handbook will assist recipient agencies with managing the Food Distribution Program. Updated 9/08
